Collis Energy Solutions ‘CES’, is committed to helping the local area become more carbon neutral by giving people more energy-efficient homes and businesses. We do this by providing a tailored and personal service to each of our customers giving up-to-date industry information and honest advice.

Company story

The Collis family started CES in 2022 striving to give local people the most up-to-date information and honest advice on everything plumbing, heating and solid fuel. This includes basic plumbing needs through to boiler services, central heating and renewable systems design & installations including heat pumps; as well as log burner installations & bathroom renovations … the list is endless!

At CES we are always looking to advance our skill set and knowledge to continue to grow, adapt and evolve within the industry to give our customers the best, professional service. Each of our customers experience a personal service tailored to them and the needs of their home in order to improve them in the most energy-efficient and cost effective way.

CES is here to give local people the knowledge and information they need to improve their homes using the best equipment & offering the best service.

Meet the team

Tony Collis

Director & Heating Engineer

This is Tony. Tony started plumbing at 16 years of age and has 20 years experience In the plumbing industry. Tony’s passion for plumbing started long before he even became an apprentice in the industry. After working his way up, he then had an 11 year career at British Gas. It was this career that then fuelled the passion to improve the industry and everything it has to offer. And after putting the ‘world to rights’ as they say, with Dan, Collis Energy Solutions was created! Tony’s passion for efficient heating systems has seen him complete the HeatGeek course for Air Source Heat Pump Installers which puts him in the top percentage of Heat Pump design and Installation. He is passionate about designing and installing heating systems and this is proven with the level of preparation that goes into all installations including pre surveys and heat loss studies to make sure that the heating system is producing the exact amount of heat required for that specific house and those specific customers needs.

In his spare time, Tony enjoys family time, kick boxing and chilling out with a film.

Dan Collis

Director & Hetas Engineer

This is Dan. Dan has had a very different background to Tony; having joined the British Army at 16 years old and served for over 8 years. After leaving the Army he worked a variety of private security jobs and then settling into the world of solid fuel. This came about after working with Tony over the years and working on various installations together. Shortly after, Dan established Collis Chimney Sweeping after becoming a fully qualified member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps and then a qualified HETAS Engineer. Straight away He developed a passion for Chimney Sweeping and Log Burner installations using the most up to date sweeping technology and tools to offer the best service. He is also now a Level 2 domestic electrical installer and will soon be a level 3 electrician and Solar PV installer – soon to come to CES!

Ben

Plumber

This is Ben. He has been working with Tony now for nearly 2 years, having first started with him at Collis Plumbing and Heating. Ben does all aspects of domestic plumbing and heating for CES. In his spare time, also being a family man, he enjoys family camping trips, paddle boarding and other outdoor activities. Its great to have Ben in the team!

Lara Collis

Office Administrator

This is Lara….After graduating from University, Lara has enjoyed various roles within a variety of industries. Along side co-running her glamping site since 2017, Lara handles the admin side of CES. Wife of Dan Collis and sister-in-law to Tony, Lara enjoys working closely with them in the family run business.
